Before you say anything, let me give you the answer: “No, it’s not for sale”. This exclusive set is sent out to various members of the media to promote “The Yoda Chronicles” which will premiere on The Cartoon Network on 29th May. Along with it, is another promotional mini poster that informs us of a major LEGO Star Wars event happening on 23rd May at Times Square, New York. According to the text, there will be an unveiling of the world’s largest LEGO model at 11am. So if you happen to be there at that precise moment, do remember to take plenty of pictures!
If you’re hell-bent on getting your hands on this exclusive set, there is hope. It’s now on sale on Ebay (auctions here & here) from USD$1000 and above. I love Star Wars but I’m not that crazy to fork out ridiculous amounts of money just to buy one set. Fortunately, the parts list is available for all. I’ll probably Bricklink the parts and reverse-engineer the building steps. Remember, my young padawans, “Do or do not, there is no try”!
Another set for the LEGO Architecture series and this time it’s the United Nations Headquarters! Not much info yet but at least we have an image of the set itself (courtest of GRogall).
