Came across this when I was doing my routine troll of the LEGO website. Tonnes of new information about the upcoming LEGO Master Builder Academy program! I won’t post everything (there’s just too much information) but just the highlights:
What Is The LEGO MBA Program?
“LEGO Master Builder Academy is an in-home and online experience in which real LEGO Master Builders share the tips and techniques of basic through advanced building, creativity and design with kids (ages 8 or older) who want to become better builders.”
What Is Included In The Subscription?
“The first annual subscription includes LEGO MBA kits 2-6, with one kit delivered every 2 months, plus unlimited access to the members-only LEGOmba.com website! Each LEGO MBA kit includes an 84-page Designer Handbook teaching LEGO Master Builder techniques, plus articles, building instructions full of Master Builder tips, LEGO bricks to create 3 new models (one at a time), and exclusive minifigures or accessories. Subscriptions start in July 2011!
*MBA Kit 1: Space Designer is NOT included in the subscription and is only available as a separate purchase.”
How Much Does It Cost?
“he MBA Space Designer Kit (Kit 1) is sold separately online and in LEGO Brand Retail Stores for $29.99. Try the program before you subscribe! The subscription, which includes kits 2-6, is $69.99 and available for purchase online or by phone.”

After all the boring stuff comes the exciting part. The LEGO MBA Kits!

Kit 2 – Microbuilder Designer (MBA Level 1): “Get ready to think small with Micro-Scale Building! The LEGO Master Builders will show you how to create 3 models using the principles of size-scaling and small elements.”

Kit 3 – Robot Designer (MBA Level 1): “Learn the nuts and bolts of Robots! Build 3 poseable robots with the techniques of balance, detailing and unusual brick uses, then rebuild your MBA Minifigure with robo-accessories!”

Kit 4 – Flight Designer (MBA Level 2): “Graduate to LEGO MBA Level 2 with Kit 4! Explore Flight with 3 new airplane models that teach shape and stability. Use your new Level 2 MBA Minifigure as a test pilot!”

Kit 5 – Creature Designer (MBA Level 2): “It’s time for a creature feature full of color and styling techniques as you build 3 new monsters and aliens! Monster-taming accessories make your Minifigure fit right in.”

Kit 6 – Auto Designer (MBA Level 2): “Complete LEGO MBA Level 2 with 3 turbo-charged racecars built for driving and customizing! Plus, make your Minifigure ready to race and rebuild with new revved-up accessories!”
LEGO fans (Singapore): I’m really excited about this but to be honest I have a feeling we will be left out in the cold again like the old LEGO BrickMaster program… I’m just keeping my hopes alive and fingers crossed when the subscriptions start in July.
LEGO fans (rest of the world): If you can buy direct from LEGO S@H, I’m quite sure you should be eligible for this program. Time will tell.
