And you thought the Burj Khalifa was the last LEGO Architecture set for 2011? Well, that’s where you’re wrong and to prove it here’s a sneak peek of this set at a pre-launch event (page 15) to be held by the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust at the actual Robie House on 27th August 2011. This huge set consists of 2276 pieces and will retail at USD$199.99 when it is released later this year.
“Join us at the Robie House when LEGO unveils its new Robie House set. Be among the first to take home this latest addition to the acclaimed LEGO Architecture series.
Architectural artist and Chicagoland resident Adam Reed Tucker, designer of LEGO Robie House, will be present at the launch to discuss how he interpreted the building into the largest and most detailed set in the LEGO Architecture series to date.
The Robie House LEGO set includes 2,276 pieces and a booklet with details on Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House’s design and history. The model measures 16.25″w x 4.75″h x 7.5″l. Recommended for ages 16+.
Available exclusively at the Robie House Museum Shop and at ShopWright.org for a limited time before the national release.”
