I have been an avid LEGO collector for the longest time. I started my collection when LEGO launched it’s first Star Wars set and since then, I’ve never looked back. To date, I have amassed a modest collection consisting of themes like Star Wars, Castle, Batman, Indiana Jones, etc, you get the picture.
I’ve always wanted to have my own little LEGO blog. Everyday I would find myself trolling webpages and forums for the latest LEGO news. I love buying LEGO. I’ve bought so many sets that whenever I buy a new LEGO set nowadays, my wife will nag (I always buy in multiples). One day, my wife asked me this: “Since you have so many LEGO sets, can I sell a few of them?”. That question ignited a spark in me and so, combining an idea of a LEGO blog and an opportunity to get rid of my unwanted extra LEGO sets, Smashing Bricks was born.
I enjoy reporting the latest LEGO news more than selling old stuff. So we decided to shift all the sales stuff over to a new blog. If you are looking to buy something, look for my wife at Trading Blocks!
